What happens to my DISH TV if I move?
Call one of our executives of before you move. You will be provided with a new DISH Network and a professional installation at the new pad you have.
Do I need to keep a phone line connected to my receiver?
Certain features on your DISH Network satellite TV need your phone line. But the receivers will not be affected by your calls. What’s more, you will not be billed additionally for the phone services.
Can I get DISH TV if I live in a rented place?
The Satellite Consumer Bill passed by the Federal Communications Commission in 1966 allows rented places to have satellite cable TV installed. The only thing is that your landlord must approve of the installation, should you need to modify the position of the dish antenna or install it in some common area shared by other tenants.
Can I actually get 6 rooms for free?
Pay just $49.99 as service fee and you can get $49.99 refund when you will become a qualified customer. DISH Network owns the equipment and when you discontinue services, they can remove the equipments.
Are checks acceptable when I sign-up?
Checks are acceptable. You can also use a Master Card or Visa credit/debit card when you sign up.
Shall I need something special to make use of a DVR receiver?
DVR receivers can work on the standard television. So there will not be any need for anything additional.
Do I need anything special to receive HDTV?
To receive HDTV signals, you need to have at least one HD receiver like DISH 722 and ViP922. Also, you need a HD TV set.
What if I move before my one year commitment is up?
DISH Network does a free installation at your new place if you move. As long as you are using the DISH Latino programming package or the America’s Top 120, you are eligible for this offer. Choose the 24 months minimum policy.
What is your return policy?
DISH Network provides satellite TV equipment that is installed by trained technicians. This installation is free of cost to the consumer. Shipping or handling of equipment back to DISH Network is the customer’s responsibility.
What is your payment policy?
We accept credit cards against the processing, installation and service fees. The gradations apply as necessary. The services in use are billed to the billing address of the customer. Services get terminated if the bills are not paid on time. Effective 2/1/2011 Green Dot will no longer be available as a payment option for DISH Network customers.
What are your tax policies?
We follow the tax laws of the locality the customer lives in. Local sales and excise laws apply to the bills and these are added to the monthly bill that you will receive.
