Using DISH Network DVR While Watching Live TV

If you are interrupted while watching TV, press 'PAUSE' on the DISH Network remote and press play when you are in a position to resume watching. With the DISH Network DVR you can Skip back 10 seconds. This feature comes handy if you missed something and want to see it again. For this you need to press 'SKIP BACK' to go backward 10 seconds at a time. If you want to skip forward for 30 seconds press 'SKIP FWD' to go forward 30 seconds at a time. Deleting a Recorded Program

Want to delete a recorded program? Hit the DVR button and select "MY RECORDINGS". Scroll up or down until the desired program is highlighted. Then press 'SELECT'. Then you have to scroll down to select "DELETE". You have to confirm the deletion by selecting "YES" as well.

Deleting a Scheduled Timer or Future Recording

To delete a scheduled recording, press the DVR button on remote and select "MY RECORDINGS". You need to scroll up and select "SCHEDULE". After that you again have to scroll up to select "TIMERS". Then you need to Scroll to the left until you find the desired timer highlighted. After that press 'SELECT'. After that, scroll up and select "DELETE". Confirm the deletion by selecting "YES".
