Great news for sports lovers in Utah! As per the recent announcement by the Western Athletic Conference, Utah State is going have two of its volleyball matches during the 2010 season televised live on ESPNU (DISH Network channel No. 141)! Hooray! So keep a close watch on DISH Network as you can watch some cool Volleyball games.
In totality, ESPNU has five Western Athletic Conference matches during this season. The Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship match which is to be held on Wednesday, November 24.
Utah State’s first nationally televised match on ESPNU on DISH Network will be held at Idaho on Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. MT. the second match will be at home against nationally acclaimed power Hawaii on Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. MT. Last year, USU hosted Idaho in a match which was televised nationally by ESPNU.
USU head coach Grayson DuBose said “We are excited and honored to be part of the ESPNU broadcasts again. It brings great exposure to our program and our conference. Our team enjoyed the opportunity last year to play on ESNPU and we look forward to having another great experience.”
ESPNU is a multimedia college sports brand, which has a round the clock college sports TV network that broadcasts over 650 live events annually. Action includes top football matches and men’s and women’s basketball games, as well as Olympic sports from as many as 26 Division I conferences. ESPNU also features premier high school programming such as selected football and basketball events. The satellite TV network also has an agreement with the NCAA for extensive coverage of 22 NCAA Championships!
