DISH Network, the leading name in satellite TV entertainment in the United States has introduced Starz Entertainment’s MoviePlex movie channel into the HD Platinum package of DISH Network. According to the multi-year agreement signed between both the companies, MoviePlex’s content, along with a wide array of titles from Starz and Encore, will soon be available on demand as well as through DISHOnline.com. With this launch DISH Network has restated its promise to grow its selection of movie channels in its offering.

Starz Pulls Out the Plug on ‘Party Down’ and ‘Gravity’

Party Down - StarzIf you are one of those TV lovers who just loved watching Constance (Jane Lynche) getting married is the season finale of ‘Party Down’ on DISH Network premium movie channel Starz, there is a bad news for you. It seems that the party is officially over for the satellite TV series ‘Party Down.’

As per the report by Ausiello Files, satellite TV channel Starz has  decided to cancel the critically acclaimed but at the same time low-rated sophomore comedy series that revolves around a group of  waiters who wants to make it big in the Hollywood.  The show was well known for a refreshing plot and quality comedy.
