Kobe Bryant

The NBA trophy, Bill Russell and Kevin McHale were there along with all the elements to kick off a celebration – the hats, the champagne and the T-shirts. Even. Everything was there at Staples Center for the Boston Celtics tonight as they were to wrap up their 18th NBA championship. But, something went otherwise and the LA Lakers got a historic blowout win in the 2010 NBA Finals Game 6 on Tuesday night. The message was loud and clear, It is not over yet! Watching the game on DISH Network was a ecstatic experience. Say what guys?

Whoa! That was quite a game! Wasn’t it? The Lakers did it! They have shown that they have the ability to work under pressure and bring the team back to a commendable position after a 3-3 series. All eyes are now set on the last game 2010 NBA Finals Game 7 tomorrow at 9 PM on ABC on DISH Network.

After losing two straight games to the old foe Boston Celtics, the comeback seemed miraculous to many LA Lakers fans. Prior to game 6 some NBA fans thought that the Los Angeles Lakers are going to need a big Hollywood ending to escape this jam with another championship. And that was IT! A Hollywood ending!

Right after the game 5 Lakers coach Phil Jackson said – “It’s basically home court, home court. Now we’re going back to home court to win it. That’s the way it’s supposed to be, isn’t it?” and his boys just prove him right. Kobe Bryant scored 26 points, Paul Gasol scored 17 points and 13 rebounds and over all they restrict the Celtics win a victory of 89-67. Los Angeles has earned the right to host the 2010 NBA Finals.

Kobe Bryant is looking forward to his fifth title which is the same number as Magic Johnson, and just one behind Michael Jordan. “We’re used to being in must-win situations,” Bryant said. “The way we look at it, (Game 7) is just a game we’ve got to win. … I don’t mean to be a buzzkill. I know what’s at stake, but I’m not tripping.” Mark his words!

2010 NBA Finals Game 5: Boston Celtics Boast a Win

2010 NBA Finals Game 5: Boston Celtics Win

Hi guys! Watched the 2010 NBA Finals Game 5 last night? It was a great game wasn’t it? The Celtics fans must be very happy to see your favorite team taking the lead in the series. It is truly a great game. All of us just loved watching the game on ABC on DISH Network. Those who have DISH HD at home must have had a jolly good time on Sunday game.

The Boston Celtics have got one game closer to another NBA title after this win in Game 5 in the 2010 NBA Finals. Paul Pierce played a rock solid game with 27 points and also did some amazing clutch shooting. The Celtics got the lead within half time. And after that there was no looking back. They have won the game with a score of 92-86.

But there is one thing I would like to mention for the LA Lakers – Kobe Bryant. He really tried very hard to motivate the teammates and help them win the game. Though the Lakers lost the game, it will be unjustified if I do not mention the fight Kobe put up against the stiff defense of the Celtics. Bryant finished with a total of 38 points in the game. (He scored the last 23 points straight in the third quarter for the Lakers.) Great going Kobe, but it was just not the day for the Lakers.

The Lakers fans do not worry!! You still have game 6 and 7 in hand and it the LA Lakers can win these two matches they will be able to grab the title. But, at this point of time the finals are a little partial towards the Boston Celtics (they are just one game away to win the series). So do not forget to keep an eye on ABC channel on DISH Network satellite TV for the 2010 NBA Finals game 6 tomorrow
at 9 PM. It must be one of the greatest Basketball games of the year.

2010 NBA Finals Game 4 Tonight: LA Lakers vs Celtics

2010 NBA Finals Game 4

Missed NBA Finals Game 3 on ABC on DISH Network? SAD, it was a good game! Though I personally felt the Celtics had as much contribution as Lakers in this game. I mean the win was as much due to poor performances by the Boston Celtics as due to excellent game from the LA Lakers. What do you think?

The Lakers won the NBA Finals 2010 Game 3 by 91-84 (All the credit goes to Kobe Bryant and Bynum). This win gave the LA Lakers an edge over its competitor and a 2-1 lead in the NBA Finals. If the Lakers can carry on this winning streak for two more games they will win the NBA finals this year. So, do keep an eye on ABC on DISH Network (Ch no. 245-246) at 9 PM tonight – you might just see a champion in making.

Though the LA Lakers has got a lead in the 7 game series, the Boston Celtics still has a good chance to win today’s game and even the series. Having a home ground advantage, the Boston Celtics might just outshine the Lakers at TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts tonight. (Though it is the same venue where the previous game in which the Celtics had a bad defeat…hope this time it happens the other way round). So don’t forget to watch this spectacular match on ABC on DISH HD. It is really going to be a great experience.

Who will win the NBA Finals 2010 Game 4? Will the Lakers be able to maintain the lead? Will the Boston Celtics even the series today? To know the answer tune in to ABC on DISH Network tonight! Don’t Miss this!!!
