Grab your hair gel, get your skin toasted, and return to the shore with ‘Jersey Shore’ returning for its second  season  tonight at 10 PM tonight on MTV! She’s back…He’s back… They Are Back and this time on a new shore – Miami! Join Snooki, The Situation as well as the rest of the Joisey gang (Cast of Jersey Shore Season 2) as they head south for the season 2 of the much awaited ‘Jersey Shore’.  ‘Jersey Shore’ season 2 premieres tonight at 10 PM on DISH Network on MTV.  Do not forget to watch the show on DISH HD mode.

Though it’s  a new  shore you are  going to find  out  pretty  soon that the guidos and guidettes are  the same crazy! And even when you take them out of Jersey, you can never take Jersey out of them! The Situation and the boys are more concerned with GTL-ing and showing off their spiky hair and abs to the women of Florida, while the women are focused on the existing romantic entanglements. Apart from the core elements that made ‘Jersey Shore’ a huge hit i.e. partying, tanning, fighting – are in full swing.

In the first installment of ‘Jersey Shore’ season 2 we will find two of the most popular pairs of the show – The Situation and DJ Pauly D as well as  Snooki and J-Woww goes for respective road trips down to the Florida coast. Wow! That’s exciting!

But once the group comes together at their new destination, the air becomes thick with tension! And why not? Angelina, who left during season 1, has returned to the show. ”I put my best foot forward and welcomed her,” said Mike ”The Situation” Sorrentino, who, along with Pauly D becomes Angelina’s roommate. Estranged couple Ronnie and Sammi too goes through a rough time. According to The Situation, in the new season ”You’re gonna see various relationships develop and progress as well as disintegrate.”

In  the  new  season  of  this  intoxicating  satellite TV show The Situation and Pauly D sneak on girls, Snooki and Jwoww go gorilla hunting (Whoa!) and Sammi and Ron pick up from the place where they left off (yesssss!!!). Vinny and Angelina too help to bring the ‘Jersey Shore’ magic to South Beach. Hmmm…The haters will be hatin’… the Ron Ron Juice will be flowin’ … and our very Snooki will be Snookin’ on Season 2 of Jersey Shore.

Say what folks? Won’t you be recording the show on your DISH HD DVR? I will, for I do not want to miss any summer time fun this season!

President Obama Is To Appear On ‘The View’ On ABC

Did you hear that? The ladies from ‘The View‘ on ABC are making history! This is the first time any sitting U.S. President will appear on a daytime talk show! The President? Oh yes! On Thursday July 29, the DISH Network viewers will see President Barack Obama chatting with Whoopi, Elisabeth, Sherri, Joy and Barbara on ABC at 11 AM!!! Now that’s quite something!

The producers of ‘The View’ on ABC have announced that President Obama will film his interview on the show on Wednesday and the episode will air on Wednesday. This is a part of “Red, White & View” campaign of the satellite TV talk show ‘The View’. You can expect Obama to deal with topics like his administration’s successes, life at the White House, jobs, the economy and the Gulf oil spill – the biggest environmental concern these days.

The President’s appearance also brings Barbara Walters back to the program. She is an executive producer of the talk show who will appear in the show for the first time since she underwent a heart valve replacement surgery in May this year. She has announced that she will return to the satellite TV show full-time in September. That’s great!

Prior to this visit, Obama has appeared on “The View” in March 2008 before he was elected, and his wife, Michelle, appeared a guest co-host in the satellite TV show three months later.

Barbara Walters has said in a statement, “We are so pleased and honored that President Obama will be a guest on ‘The View.’ This shows that both the President and First Lady feel that our show is an influential and important source of information and news.”

‘The Pillars of the Earth’ Premieres Tonight on Starz

Are you in the mood to watch a miniseries? Well there is good news for you. Starz, a premium movie channel from DISH Network is bringing you a great new miniseries ‘The Pillars of the Earth‘ that premieres tonight at 10PM on Starz! Do not miss the miniseries that is sure to keep you glued to your seat for several Fridays. You can also watch the satellite TV show in DISH HD mode.

Do you know that the Ken Follet novel from which this miniseries is adapted has a hefty 973 pages? So naturally you can very well understand that the series will be an epic story which will unfold across the next six Fridays at 10PM on Starz. The miniseries is an 8 hour miniseries.

And guess what? There is even better news – the miniseries will bring back Ian McShane (‘Deadwood’ fame) back to the TV. In this satellite TV miniseries he’s playing another delightfully Swearengen-like character – Waleran Bigod, the role of a scheming bishop whose biggest desire is gaining the maximum amount of personal power.

For those who have not read the novel here is a brief of the satellite TV miniseries plot. The miniseries revolves around the half a century effort of building a cathedral in medieval times. This project requires a massive effort by a number of individuals such as builders to clergy to politicians, and also involves a huge amount of money.

The soapy historical back story was produced by brothers Tony and Ridley Scott, cost a whopping $40 million. The miniseries cast includes Rufus Sewell, Donald Sutherland and the recent Tony Award winner Eddie Redmayne.
