It is the first and the only app from any satellite TV provider that is especially designed for the iPad. This app allows the viewers to control their TV and manage their shows from remote locations.

This iPad app known as DISH Remote Access is very much like the DISH Remote Access version available for iPhone and iPod touch. DISH Remote Access for iPad can be described as a comprehensive remote DVR scheduler that offers DISH Network users with total access to different types of DVR functionalists as well as features. With this app a DISH Network viewer can schedule any DVR recording on multiple numbers of DISH Network receivers. They can even delete the timer, browse through nine days of programming from electronic programming guide (EPG). They can also manage the DVR libraries and to do the same they have to set recording priorities, resolve recording issues and delete shows that they have watched previously.
