Fashionistas  and aspiring models! The wait is  over- as The CW’s hit series ‘America’s Next Top Model‘ returns to TV with its Cycle 16 premiering this Wednesday (Feb 23) at 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch  out  for this one on CW for a peep  in to  the  world  of  high fashion.

ANTM Cycle 16: The  Judges

The panel of judges is lead by none other than Tyra Banks.  While  the  other judges include the influential fashion editor André Leon Talley as well as photographer Nigel Barker.  Jay Manuel will be the photo shoot creative director and Miss J Alexander will make a comeback as the runway trainer in America’s Next Top Model Cycle 16 .

But that’s not all,  there  will be a series on guest judges  including Lana Marks (international fashion designer), Erin Wasson (model/stylist), Rachel Zoe (stylist), Alek Wek (Sudanese model and actress), Lori Goldstein (stylist/creative consultant), Francesco Carrozzini (photographer), Sonia Dara (model), Ivan Bart(IMG Models executive), Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia editor-in-chief), Daniella Issa Helayel (Brazilian designer), and Eric Daman (costume designer/stylist).

Remember Luc Besson’s 1999 film La Femme Nikita a film about a beautiful ex-spy and assassin who is determined to bring down the spy organization? Well, watch the femme fatale back in the tube as Nikita a new series on CW premieres tonight at 9PM. The one hour series is sure to offer you more spice than most other satellite TV series that you watch. So watch out for it! As a deeply troubled teenager, Nikita (played by Mission: Impossible III‘s Maggie Q) was rescued from death by a secret U.S. agency known as Division. The team faked her execution as well as told her that she will be given a second chance to begin life afresh and to serve the nation. However, there was one thing that they didn’t tell her – she was being trained as an assassin and a spy!!! Whoa, what an interesting plot for this CW series that is sure to take the DISH Network viewers!

During her exhausting training at Division, Nikita never gave up her humanity, and even fell in love with a civilian. It is when her fiancé was murdered; Nikita finally realized that she had been betrayed as well as that her dreams were shattered by the people at Division – the only people she thought she could trust! So, she escaped from the Division and after hiding for three years she came back to expose and destroy the covert operation of the Division.

Meanwhile, Division continues to ‘rescue’ young people, and turn them into cold and efficient killers. Alex, a promising new recruit whose past is not much different from Nikita replaces Nikita in the Division! She, however, soon begins to understand why Nikita wants to take down the empire!

Percy, Division’s top authority, uses his reputation as a good government employee to turn the secret organization into a profitable spy-for-hire shop. And he is going to do everything it takes to destroy Nikita! But will he be successful? Or will Nikita taste success in her mission? Watch out for it!

On different episodes each Plain Jane will receive a head-to-toe transformation of looks, including new wardrobe and an array of confidence building exercises. Once the makeover is complete, the formerly Plain Jane will surprise her crush with the new look and reveal her true feelings for him. And after that, there may or may not be a romantic twist!

And do not forget some fun element- “the Zapper.” In the date training area the “Janes” interact with men while wearing a collar strapped to their ankles which electrocutes them lightly when the gals go back to their shy selves…”It’s just a gentle reminder to remember what the rules are,” said Roe, laughing.

But what is her idea about the show? Roe said “This show is really about the inside and how these girls gain confidence and understand themselves better. I told them, I’m not changing you, I’m just taking who you are and tweaking it a little bit.” That’s quite good!

In the premiere episode of the satellite TV show Cristen, a shy 24-year-old in plain clothes and “one of the guys” personality that keeps her from telling her guy best friend that she has fallen for him … Awwwwwwwww …

In this schedule they have introduced a number of new shows and at the same time, have made some alterations to the existing shows. The Vampire Diaries (CW) -Mystic Falls loves Founder’s Day but Johnathan Gilbert, on the other hand, is not so much a fan. So he plans to turn the event into a disaster. Smallville (CW) – Clark and Zod square off when the Kandorians attack Earth. Chloe calls in some old friends to help. Help comes from members of the Justice League and Justice Society. Desperate Housewives (ABC) – It’s time to reveal some secrets! Lynette will discover the identity of the serial killer. May 17

Castle (ABC) – Beckett and Castle investigate the apparent assassination of an intelligence operative. Castle becomes jealous over Beckett’s new boyfriend and turns to his ex wife book editor Gina Cowell. In this course both Castle and Beckett will realize strong attraction to one another. Don’t meet the season finale on Castle that is to be aired on May 17 on ABC (DISH Network channel 245-246).

Gossip Girl (CW) – The chaotic love of Chuck and Blair will take a few more twist and turns in the season finale when Chuck will make desperate attempts to win Blair back. On the other hand Blair has a new suitor in the scene and he too is desperate to win it. The series airs on May 17 on CW (DISH Network channel 232-235) at 9 PM.

House (Fox) – In the sixth-season finale, watch the doctors of Princeton Plainsboro leaving the hospital to deal with an extraordinary search-and-rescue emergency. One Tree Hill (CW) – Haley joins Nathan and the gang on a trip to support Julian as Brooke and Julian’s fate as a couple is decided. Haley will try to help them focus in future . Law & Order: SVU (NBC) – Watch French actress Isabelle Huppert as she appears as a guest-star in the season finale where she plays the mother of a kidnapped child. The season finale also marks the end of Sharon Stone’s role as feisty DA Jo Marlowe. Do not miss it! The season finale airs on NBC (DISH Network channel 241-242) on May 19.

May 20

Bones (Fox) -”There are some big changes for them in the finale that affects the future in a big way,” said Emily Deschanel, who plays the title character. Hart Hanson, executive producer reveals: “We have a big finale, and I hope for some more crying — of joy or sadness, I don’t know.” Need to say anything more folks? CSI (CBS) – Bill Irwin returns to help Langston track down his nemesis, Dr. Jekyll. Get ready for a fierce showdown. Carol Mendelsohn, executive producer says, “Dr. Jekyll and Langston are headed for a final confrontation and I do not think Langston will end up unscathed.” – Sounds good!!! Catch CSI Season Finale on May 20 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244).

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) – Executive producer Shonda Rhimes says fans will have a exciting time during the two hour finale. “None of our characters are going to be the same,” she added, while mentioning Derek, Meredith and Cristina. Also look for Mandy Moore who guest-stars as Bailey’s patient in the season finale that is to be aired on May 20 on ABC (DISH Network channel 245-246).

The Mentalist (CBS) – “We’re not going to catch Red John at the end of the season, but the team is going to come too close for comfort,” executive producer Bruno Heller says. Meanwhile, “Jane finds her fascinating and interesting and amusing and attractive, [but] she’s doing the exact things that caused him all the tragedy in his life,” Heller says. “So he’s drawn to her and repelled at the same time.” Hmmm…a must watch one for sure! Catch the action from season finale on May 20 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244).

The Office (NBC) – Kathy Bates returns as CEO Jo Bennett, and her visit is not good news for the people at Dunder Mifflin. Someone has broken the rules while selling printers, and has to face consequences. Watch Steve Carell and Amy Pietz in the season finale. Steve Carell may leave the show after 2010-2011 season. So, watch out for him! The season finale airs on May 20 on NBC (DISH Network channel 241-242).

May 23

Lost (ABC) – You don’t really want to know in advance what happens in the series finale of this challenging, innovative series — do you? Over the years ‘Lost’ has excelled at, it’s surprising us, and why would we want to ruin that now? May 24

24 (Fox) – As 24′s clock runs out, Jack Bauer is forced to take the matter into his hands for one last time. Executive producer Howard Gordon and Kiefer Sutherland have promised us the ultimate end for Jack this season. However, you may get to see him in a feature-length movie that is already in making. Watch out for the season finale of ‘24’ on May 24 (what a coincidence!) on Fox (DISH Network channel 247-248).

Chuck (NBC) – Scott Bakula will return as Chuck’s dad, and that’s a good thing, as only he can help people during a security breach threat. This show is also in the bubble for renewal. So, watch out! CSI: Miami (CBS) – Horatio and the team track a serial killer who mocks CSI team with clues and dead bodies. Watch out for “the most dramatic betrayal in Horatio Caine’s career,” and its aftermath. Watch the season finale on May 24 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244)

May 25

The Good Wife (CBS) – Eli gears up the political career of Peter while Alicia has to decide her way and her future. Wondering in which team Kalinda belongs? You will get the answer on season finale that airs on May 25 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244).

NCIS (CBS) – Watch out for Gibbs and his team as they head for a showdown with a fierce drug association in Mexico. Eventually, Gibbs will be forced to make an unbelievable sacrifice for his team. Watch NCIS season finale on May 25 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244).

CSI: NY (CBS) – Shane Casey strikes again!!! His targets: Danny and Lindsay. Executive producer Pam Veasey says “The season finale will involve a big, big event for Danny and Lindsay. It’s something that will make [viewers] go, ‘Oh my goodness!’ That will be their response.” What the cast member has to say about Casey’s plan? “This is such a genius way of showing how diabolical he really is. You never know what he’s going to do, and that is revealed in a very dangerous way.”- We are impressed! Watch out for the season finale on May 26 on CBS (DISH Network channel 243-244).
