The story of ‘The Walking Dead’ follows Rick Grimes, a police officer from Kentucky who wakes up from coma and finds himself in a deserted hospital ward and gradually learns that his town is flooded with flesh eating zombies and his family is also missing. The government has advised everyone to go to big cities and await aid. Learning this he takes his squad car stuffs it with munitions enough for a small war and embarks on a quest to find his family.

Will he be able to find his family alive or they will become reanimated zombies? And what will be the role of humanity when everyone is struggling to survive and escape the zombies who are roaming and lurking around every corner? Tune in to AMC this Sunday at 8PM onwards on DISH Network to watch the premiere of ‘Rubicon’. Yes, it is a new series from AMC and the show promises to be a good one. Rubicon is latest original drama series on AMC after the tremendous success of ‘Mad Men’ and ‘Breaking Bad’. The satellite TV series is a conspiracy thriller starring James Badge Dale. He plays the role of Will Travers, an analyst at a New York City-based federal intelligence agency. The analysis has to deal with a case where nothing is what it appears to be. Henry Bromell (of ‘Homicide’, ‘Chicago Hope’, ‘Brotherhood’ fame) has signed on as showrunner of the series. This one-hour long series has 13-episode weekly and is produced by Warner Horizon Television.

Will Travers is a government think tank employee who thinks of quitting his job when he begins to suspect that the agency is part of one conspiracy. In tonight’s back-to-back episodes, Will eventually decides to stay on at the agency and deal with his old colleagues who are now in a new position and at the same time gather even more evidence to support his conspiracy theory. Meanwhile, the wife of a billionaire who has committed suicide has some surprises in store as she begins to uncover all the secrets of her late husband and some of those secrets relate him to Will’s agency… Seems fascinating…isn’t it?

In his guest appearance in the immensely popular series ‘The Simpsons’ Jon Hamm will be playing the role of an FBI agent. And according to ‘The Simpsons’ executive producer Al Jean Hamm’s character will be completely different from the role of Don Draper, the role that made Jon a household name.

Hamm has already come out of his ‘Don Draper’ character to for some amusing guest appearances. He did a guest appearance on satellite TV show ’30 Rock’ and also hosted in ‘Saturday Night Live‘ – a popular show on DISH Network on NBC.

Hamm is going to guest star in an episode of ‘The Simpsons’ named ‘Donnie Fatso’ that is scheduled to air in the month of December. In this episode he will be playing the role of an FBI supervisor who works with Homer when he goes secretly as a prison informant.

‘The Simpsons,’ is going to premiere its 22nd season on Fox on September 26 and you can expect a number of stars to appear as guest stars in the show.

Hey folks! I have great news for you all… ‘Mad Men,’ the summer’s most expected returning show, is coming back on tube this Sunday, July 25 at 10PM ET on AMC. Yippee! I am looking forward to watch the show on DISH Network. I am sure that you too are looking forward to that. The plot of ‘Mad Men’ is set in the 1960s backdrop. Initially the story was set at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency situated on Madison Avenue in New York City. Later the story was shifted to a newly created firm of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. The show revolves around Don Draper – the creative director at Sterling Cooper as well as a founding partner at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. The story also focuses on people associated to him both in and out of the office. The story also focuses on the altering social morals on the 1960s America. It is a nice plot I must say.

‘Mad Men’ has received a lot of critical acclaim as well as huge popularity among the viewers. The satellite TV show got huge praise for its historical authenticity as well as visual style. The show has won a number of awards, including nine Emmys as well as five Golden Globes. It was the first basic TV series to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series. The show has won the award for two consecutive years 2008 and 2009. WOW!

Are you missing ‘Mad Men’? Well, you can have reasons to rejoice now! Finally, AMC has officially declared the return date for ‘Mad Men’. The date of their latest series, “Rubicon” has also been announced. You can watch the amazing show on DISH Network on July 25, 2010.

Season four of ‘Mad Men’ will make a comeback on DISH TV on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 10 p.m. after season three’s cliffhanger finale; the series has left many questions for the fans. At the end of the last season, Sterling Cooper had disbanded and the Drapers had split-up. This has left a clean path for the writers to start the plot afresh.

All the ‘Mad Men’ fans are looking forward to see how the new direction of the series unfolds. It seems the series will come to a close soon. In an interview Matthew Weiner, the show runner of ‘Mad Men’ confirmed that the show will end only after six seasons.

An AMC spokesperson said, “No one wants to see Don Draper wearing a leisure suit. We trust Matthew’s vision and that he knows where to take the show. But with that said, ‘M*A*S*H’ figured how to stretch the Korean War for more than a decade, so stay tuned.”

After the success of its first two series, “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad,” “Rubicon” will be the third series from AMC. It is a thriller based on a government intelligence agency based in New York. The show premieres on Sunday, August 1 at 8 p.m. so, stay tuned folks!
