What happens when you mix ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ with ‘Gossip Girl’ in equal proportion and add a few drops of ‘Desperate Housewives’ element? Oh c’mon, you know the answer! Yes, we are talking about Pretty Little Liars. The hit series on ABC Family (DISH Network channel number 180) that makes a comeback to tube tonight at 8PM.

One of the most entertaining series on ABC Family, Pretty Little Liars brings you the account of a small pristine town with a dark secret which belongs to the prettiest girls in the town – Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily.

Alison, the Queen Bee of this pretty group, disappeared sometimes back and the girls swore they would never tell what happened that night… soon enough they start receiving threatening messages from someone named ‘A’- who knows all their secrets and watches their moves.

Who is this A? In the last episode (episode 10) of Pretty Little Liars, Hannah gets to know the identity of A, but A runs her over with a car before she can even tell others! What happens next? To know that, watch the return of the series on ABC family. The episode 11 is aptly named ‘Moments Later’. In this episode Hannah is in hospital and she gets a chance to meet Alison, or was it her hallucination? Whatever it is, the things are too interesting to leave at this point.

So, switch to DISH Network channel number 180 to watch the “Pretty Little Liars” return on TV and enjoy the intoxicating concoction of gorgeous gals, dirty secrets and scary threats!

These days we do not get to watch a great many new holiday specials. The old classics like ’The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,’ ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas,’ and ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ deliver a great entertainment ratings. However, the new Christmas classics tend to fall short both in terms of ratings and creative success. ABC Family (DISH Network Channel 180) brings you a new special tonight that has every possibility to become a huge hit!

Last year ABC hit a bullseye with ”Prep & Landing“ (which will be aired on ABC at 8:30 PM Tonight). This year ABC Family brings you a delightful British import, ”The Gruffalo” premiering tonight at 7 PM.

“The Gruffalo” is not, strictly speaking, a Christmas special! Apart from a little added snow at the end, there’s nothing really holiday-like about this special. “The Gruffalo” tells a simple story deliberately and quietly without any unnecessary theatrics. Based on a 10-year-old children’s picture book of the same name by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, this animated series features a mother squirrel (voiced by Helena Bonham Carter) who tells her two children the story of a mouse (Voice James Jordan).

The mouse goes for a walk in the forest and encounters three predators: A fox, an owl as well as a snake. He disarms each of them with the story of the Gruffalo, a creature which the mouse describes in a different way each time to fit the situation best.

The British voice cast includes James Jordan, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Rob Brydon, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson.

“The Gruffalo” is a welcome addition to the ABC Family’s “25 Days of Christmas” programming event. Don’t forget to watch this amazing Holiday Special ‘The Gruffalo’ on ABC Family (DISH Network Channel 180). You will definitely find that quite interesting!

For those who are excited to see shows like ‘Pretty Little Liars’ on ABC Family must be happy to know that the success of the satellite TV series has encouraged ABC Family to give production order to three new pilots. So, soon we will be able to watch three exciting shows on DISH Network and will have loads of fun.

These three all new one-hour dramas are called ‘Nine Lives,’ ‘Switched at Birth‘ as well as ‘Strut’. These satellite TV series are dedicated toward the satellite TV channel’s Millenial viewers. EVP of original programming and development Kate Juergens said. “These pilots offer a great mix of heartfelt and compelling storytelling that our audience has come to expect from us.”

‘Nine Lives,’ is a new satellite TV series that is based on the book ‘The Nine Lives of Chloe King‘ by Celia Thomson. The series features a teenage girl who gains superpowers in her 16th birthday. She soon finds out that she is part of an ancient race that has been hunted by assassins for millennia; she also finds that she is their only hope for survival.

‘Switched at Birth’ is a satellite TV show the plot of which is quite explicit from its title. Two girls, of which one is poor and has lost her hearing ability as a child and one is rich with an pleasant family life – comes to know that they were switched at birth. As a result both of the families need to live together for the sake of the girls.

‘Strut’ revolves around a showgirl called Roxy gets married to one stranger after one wild evening. Then she finds herself in a small town in Texas and recreating the struggling drill team in the high school.” The dancer plans to create a group from the outsiders. And she will “turn the town upside down in the process.”

Though none of these shows will be cast yet, but the producers come with remarkable teen-TV pedigrees (Alloy Entertainment, The CW) which will definitely work for ABC Family. You will surely have a good time watching the show on DISH Network.

Hey ‘Friday Night Lights’ fans! Do you know what day it is? Oh well, I know it is not a Friday but still it is the day when ‘Friday Night Lights’ is going change its network! Yes, from tonight onward the satellite TV show on DISH Network will be aired on ABC Family – a new channel! You can watch this critically acclaimed show on ABC Family during the weeknights on 6/5c. Watch out for it!

‘Friday Night Lights’ is one of the most praised and most critically-acclaimed series on satellite TV, this compelling satellite TV drama takes place in Dillon, Texas. The series revolves around a community which is obsessed with the grade of its high school football team. The head coach, Eric Taylor (played by Kyle Chandler), continually feels the pressure of the expectations of the town when he leads the troubled and problematic team during the season. This satellite TV show is well known for offering a unique insight into a big, ‘bigger-than-life’ Texas culture. And at the same time ‘Friday Night Lights’ narrates a story which is more to life than victory, and more to being a man than being a big winner.

‘Friday Night Lights’ is a TV series adapted by Peter Berg, Brian Grazer as well as David Nevins from a book and a film of the same name. The first three seasons of the series revolves around the Dillon Panthers, a high school football team that is based in fictional Dillon, Texas. However, a particular focus given to the coach of the team Eric Taylor as well as his family. In the season 4 Taylor takes over at East Dillon High School, where he gives coaching to the Lions. Using this small town backdrop the show addresses many issues that the contemporary Middle America will be facing.

In the month of May 2010, ABC Family has announced that it had gained the syndication rights of the show. The show will start airing on the network September 6, 2010. So have a great time watching the show on DISH Network!

You must have heard of the expression, ‘always the bridesmaid, never the bride’? Well, in the case of ‘Revenge of the Bridesmaids‘- a brand new ABC Family movie, it is way better not to be the ones to walk down the aisle as JoAnna Garcia (‘Privileged’) joins hand with Raven-Symoné (‘That’s So Raven‘) to seek revenge on their frenemy on her BIG day. Sounds nice right? It can be a perfect movie to watch on a leisurely Sunday evening and hey, that’s just it! The show is premiering Sunday, July 18 at 8PM ET on ABC Family. Do not miss the movie on DISH Network.

‘Revenge of the Bridesmaids’ – the title of the TV movie rather clearly spells out the story of the delightfully silly movie. Two spunky gals plans to ruin their frenemy’s wedding after she steals another friend’s man (the groom). And they create a havoc there and get themselves …err- behind the bars. Hmmm… I know what you are thinking; the plot does not seem original. It is true that there is no ingenious and unique plot here. But the brilliance of the satellite TV movie lays elsewhere – its cast.

JoAnna Garcia and Raven-Symoné who are playing the lead roles in the satelltie TV movies looks spot on in their rather silly performances. They compliment each other in true yin-and-yang style. Then there is Beth Broderick of ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’ who gave a terrific performance playing the role of the mother of the bride – a rather throaty person who is on wheels. Nice casting I must say. The satellite TV movie seems to be just like those silly sinful pleasures that can lead to pure indulgence!!!

So do not forget to give in to the delightfully inane movie on DISH Network channels this Sunday evening. You can also record the movie on DISH HD DVR and watch it later. Trust me; you are going to have a great time!

Are you ready to rock with the Rock girls? Yes, they are back into action in season 2 of ‘Make It or Break It’ – the amazing gymnastics soap on ABC Family. And the season 2 of the great show premiers tonight at 10 PM ET on ABC Family on DISH Network. Just go for it!

When the Rock girls battle against the Chinese everyone thought they are nothing but gutsy or crazy for that matter. And when they won five medals – compared to the four of the National team, people called them the Best! But the Rock gymnasts as well as their coach are being called renegades – and that can be a problem to them.

‘Renegades’ or ‘rebels’ is a label that can put them in the wrong light in front of the National Committee and it is not a great new for the Rock girls! (It is a dangerous choice to go against the National Committee as it can have severe consequences.)

But going against the National Committee is not the only BIG decision that the gymnasts got to make. Kaylie runs at the risk of losing her endorsements due to competing in the invitational, while Emily has a strong chance of losing her scholarship.

Then comes some other personal choices – decisions about love, friendship and family… Emily’s mom is wooing Lauren’s rich dad to get scholarship money; while Lauren is sleeping with her best friend’s ex. (Truly, when it comes to tossing and twisting around melodrama, this gymnastics soap rocks! But then again, it’s gymnastics soap, right?).

If that is not enough trouble, the wicked national-team official is conspiring to take control of the Rock girls’ gym. – Everything that these girls have is at stake.

In the season 2 of the satellite TV show, the stakes will be higher than ever!!! The gymnasts this season will be pushed to the limit while their loyalties will be put to test like never before!!! There is just one thing that these girls can do in order to live up to everyone’s expectation…Rock on!

Sounds delicious, isn’t it? Watching the season 2 of satellite TV show ‘Make It or Break It’ is going to be just the kind of indulgent fun that one can get from watching the Olympics while lolling on the sofa with a triple sundae.
