The notable among them is Matt Passmore a charismatic Australian actor who will play the role of a smart but impish cop in the new cop show ‘The Glades’. The satellite TV show premieres on June 11 at 10 PM on A&E. Do not miss it!

We know that a number of cop shows are debuting this summer but this is something different. I mean, just look at the hottie fresh face. That’s cute, isn’t it? It’s a perfect combination of boyish charm and a tough cop look. Though this Australian actor is a new face to most of you, he will surely win you over in no time with his performance as Jim Longworth. The guy will play a Chicago cop who gets a boot from his job when his boss shot him. His boss was under the notion that Longworth was having an affair with the boss’ wife. Hmmm…a good plot that will make a delightful satellite TV show…right folks?

So Longworth heads to Florida, where he plans to take up a police job in a small town. He thought that it will leave him with little work and a lot of time to golf. But he has to readjust his devil-may-care attitude when the murder rate shoots upward. In the premiere episode he tries to solve a murder case where a headless body turns up in the swamp… great!
