Put on your best exercise clothing and gym shoes and set the bowl of French fries aside. For the Season 10 of NBC‘s popular series “The Biggest Loser” kicks off tonight 8-10 p.m. ET on DISH Network! This season comes with a new theme of “paying it forward” as well as new 21 contestant who are vying for a spot at the ranch in order to get healthy as well as to give their personality and lives a complete makeover.
Obesity at present is one of the leading causes of unnecessary death in the United States. “The Biggest Loser” broadens its reach this season, pay it forward as well as motivate communities to get healthy. So trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels as well as host Alison Sweeney are going to travel to seven cities in this premiere episode on DISH Network, with each trainer leading community fitness challenges like a one-mile race or a 500 step-up competition. The cities include – Detroit, Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Atlanta, Oklahoma City and Boston. In each of the city there will be three contestants competing in different challenges. Two candidates who will complete their fitness challenge first will win a place at the ranch. Interesting, isn’t it?
Their Story:
“The Biggest Loser” season 10 has a new and interesting cast! You will also have some great time learning about them. Take Burgandy from Eagle Mountain, Utah for example. She is a military wife, foster parent as well as mother of five. Aaron, a resident of Kent, Ohio is the son of an alcoholic who wants to be a better role model to his son.
Montina a resident of Houston, Texas is a background vocalist for Beyonce. She wants to look as stunning as her voice. On the other hand, Tina a resident of Boring, Oregon is a 58-year-old retired homemaker who was once a swimsuit model. Apart from that Adam a resident of Santa Ana, California who wants to lose weight and honor his mother.
Meet Sophia from Germantown, Maryland, a high school counselor who suffered a tragic loss. Patrick from Vicksburg, Mississippi, is a former college football player who has stopped playing due to an injury and started overeating. Ada from San Francisco, California wants a happy life after a troubled childhood. Brenden on the other hand is a special education teacher.
Any of these contestants will win the $25000 prize money in the satellite TV series “The Biggest Loser”! You are sure to have a great time watching the show! And guess what?
