Are you a fan of “The Real Housewives” series that presents a slice of high life of affluent women? Well then you must be eagerly waiting for the latest addition to the “Housewives” series – ‘The Real Housewives of D.C.’, another delicious dose of sinfully delicious reality shows on Bravo TV. You can enjoy the premiere of this amazing series tonight at 9 PM on DISH Network.
In tonight’s premiere ‘The Real Housewives’ series expands to our nation’s capital and it introduces five intriguing women whose interpersonal relationships as well as their relationship with the city offers you a great combination through which one can explore the nexus of politics, society, and race! You will be surprised to see how the closeness with political power can dictate one’s place even within the Beltway society.
Now let us meet the D.C. Housewives who have connections with the who’s who of the society and are invited to the most important cultural events, political galas, gallery opening, as well as fundraisers in Washington. They are:
- Mary Schmidt Amons – The true Washingtonian and granddaughter of radio and TV personality Arthur Godfrey. She has 5 children.
- Lynda Erkiletian – The mother hen and owner of D.C.’s top modeling agency
- Catherine Ommanney – A British woman, married to a White House photographer;
- Michaele Salahi – Model and founder of D.C.’s America’s Polo Cup, who came into focus of media attention after the White House state dinner that was held in last November
- Stacie Scott Turner – Harvard graduate and an active political fund-raiser, and philanthropist
Every season of the ‘Real Housewives’ franchise, has featured at least one or two ‘Housewives’ that fans love, but the latest entry, ‘The Real Housewives of D.C.’ may be an exception to the rule. There’s absolutely no lack of things not to like about these five snooty, pretentious women.
Take a look at the happenings that will take place at the premiere episode of this satellite TV reality series on DISH Network. White House crasher Michaele Salahi, is busy organizing a polo event that is skipped by one housewife. Lynda Erkiletian is all about the superficial! She skipped Michaele’s polo event, and tells their mutual friends that Michaele might have an eating disorder.
Mary Schmidt Amons annoys one of her friends when she suggests drunkenly that the election of President Obama means that white women and Black women should not get their hair done in different salons anymore. Stacie Scott Turner is a real estate agent who is very concerned that she sells millions of bucks in houses every year.
Not to forget Catherine Ashley Ommanney, a British gal who claims to have once made out with Prince Harry (isn’t he much younger than she is?)!!! Her opinionated views rub the other ‘Housewives’ the wrong way in the premiere.
So, get ready to peep into the lives and homes of notable people in the community with the D.C. housewives as they move at ease from fundraisers and gala events and discus everything from race to money and politics to relationships as well as high fashion. Keep an eye on ‘The Real Housewives of D.C.’ on DISH Network. You will have a galore of fun watching the series on DISH HD mode. It promises to be a lively season…
