NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship 2010 was a great game. In the championship game Connecticut vs. Stanford the scores were 53-47 in favor of Connecticut. Though not as exciting as the championship game of the Men’s Division, the game really kept the viewers glued to the seat. Watching the game on CBS sports on DISH Network was truly an experience to remember.
During the first round of the championship game, Stanford set a score of 20-12 and took a lead against Connecticut.
At one point of time Stanford really got ahead of Connecticut with a score of 12-5. Just 3:59 remaining on the clock Connecticut began scoring against Stanford before the end of first round. After the first round the score card showed 20-12 in favor of Stanford.

During the second round the scene changed drastically and Connecticut started taking revenge against Stanford. Kalana Greene and Maya Moore from Connecticut were the best players in this round. Connecticut made a huge lead against Stanford. At one point of time the score became 34-47 in favor of Connecticut. From that time, there was no looking back. Connecticut players maintained their performance till the last minute of the game and ended up with a score 53-47. With this Connecticut was declared the 2010 NCAA National Champions for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament Division.
