Robert/Bob Allen is a brilliant schemer who has carefully created two separate lives in two cities of Texas. And he is juggling two different identities and two women under a mountain of lies. But now, the cons are closing in…
As “Bob,” the conman married to Cat, the beautiful daughter of Clint Thatcher, who heads an ultra-wealthy oil family in Texas and they live in Houston. But in the west Texas town of Midland, he’s “Robert” who is living with his sweet, youthful girlfriend, Lindsay Holloway. He plays a perfect boyfriend to Lindsay and at the same time trick the local investors of their savings. On the other hand he also plays a loyal husband to Cat to find a strong position in the family business which he wants to clear out.
Bob has leaded both lives successfully for many years without suspicions… But not anymore! With his brother-in-law threatening to expose him and the angry investors who want their claim, Bob/Robert finds himself in a tight situation! He is clearly torn between his loves for two women, respect for his father in law and loyalty towards his father and mentor! And for that reason he plays a final gamble in which he can leave the schemes behind and keep the relationships steady! But will be succeed?
