I agree that if customers want to purchase MLB network as an add on, we should be given that choice and no addditional cost is going to people that will not watch it. I don’t watch Golf on TV but I pay for the channel in my package, just work it out and give your customers what they want or I might have to go to Direct

I assume the dispute between MLB & Dish is about money. From what I read months ago, MLB wanted the cable and satelite companies to fund their fledgling MLB station up front. If cable & satelite companies didn't pony-up, then they could not have Extra Innings. Short & sweet, it was blackmail. Well, most all paid the ransom, expect Dish. Now Dish's customer's cannot get MLB Extra Innings – period. For us, as Dish subscribers, there are not any good options, either. No high speed access available, so MLB over the internet is out. Guess, I will be calling Direct TV soon, even tho I don't like their receivers (you can only watch a recorded show from the tv it was recorded on – not from another room – unless you go with HD & watch all the non-HD shows all stretched-out & distorted) Needless to say, I am not real happy with DISH right now. At least give me, the customer, the OPTION to purchase MLB EI. (((((

I think I will switch to Direct TV satellite since Dish Network doesn carry many Yankee games. —David Oates

Anybody knows what the dispute between DN and MLB is about?
