Best Actress in a Leading role: Actresses nominated for the best actress in a leading role include Sandra Bullock as the leading actress in The Blind Side, Helen Mirren – the leading actress in The Last Station, Carey Mulligan – the star of An Education, Gabourey Sidibe who has played the female lead in Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire and ever charming Meryl Streep for Julie & Julia.
