Heard the good news? It is back? Yes, Deadliest Catch, the popular adventure series on Discovery Channel returns for its sixth season. The tough guys of TV make a comeback to the Bering Sea for a great brand-new season of crab fishing. The Emmy – winning crab-fishing reality series kicks off on Tuesday, April 13 at 9PM for its sixth season on Discovery Channel on DISH Network.
The sixth season of Deadliest Catch will be the final season for Captain Phil Harris of Cornelia Marie. He suffered from a stroke on January 29th. He died on February 9th.He was 53.
Though the incident was sad, it was not much of a surprise to the regular viewers of the crab-fishing reality series. During the season in the year 2008, Harris suffered from a life-threatening blood clot. However, he returned to the series in the second part of the season i.e. the opilio crab season in the year 2009. But during the comeback it did not give the impression that he had altered his injurious habits much.
However, it seems that Phil has made it through the first part of the king crab season. It would be very interesting to see how the show deals with Harris’ death as he has been such an important character in the show. It has been told that Harris wanted camera to document the health crisis. So have a great time watching the satellite TV show folks!
