Lights out! Get ready got for the Ultimate Blind Date as ‘Dating in the Dark’ is back for the second season!
We often say that Love starts with the eyes and ends when the things go dark and bad! But hey, that’s not the case of ‘Dating in the Dark’ a reality show on ABC on DISH Network! Here love starts in the dark (oh ok not between the sheets!) and it develops in the eyes!
Every week three single guys as well as three unattached ladies go to a house in search of love in this satellite TV show. Each one of them is quite unknown to the members of the opposite sex until all of them are introduced to each other in a ridiculously dark room. Yes, it’s the Ultimate Blind Date!
As the guys and girls get to know each other in total darkness the looks are taken out of the equation (which often plays a vital role in romance until they find out “looks clearly aren’t everything!”). After a few ‘Blind’ dates, the participants choose someone they would like to meet in clear light. That’s the time when they finally get to see who it is they have been wooing and kissing. Phew!
Is love truly blind or will they be scared away by the light of day? To know that keep your eyes open for Season Two of ‘Dating in the Dark’ comes to light… err.. the tube premiering on Monday, August 9th at 10PM ET on ABC on DISH Network.
