So, what’s a didgeridoo? All America is asking the same question after watching Crystal Bowersox performing with a didgeridoo at American Idol. The amazing satellite TV reality show is aired on Fox Television on DISH Network. Currently the top 9 contestants in the music reality show are performing live. You can watch the emerging singing stars of America performing in the show. Last night Crystal Bowersox, one of the most promising singing talents in the show, gave her Beatles week performance – “Come Together.” She used the musical instrument didgeridoo during a performance.

A didgeridoo can be termed as a musical instrument which is used by Australian Aborigines. The instrument is made from one long wooden tube which is blown into to create a low hum. The instrument added a spark to the performance of Crystal. However, the judges made a little fun of it while trying to pronounce it correctly.

Crystal Bowersox along with Rickey Minor and band found out a didgeridoo especially for this Beatles week performance. The band didn’t have a didgeridoo player within the band and so hired one.

The didgeridoo player was a freelancer named Ernie. Didgeridoo surely added some diversity and uniqueness to Crystal’s performance.
