This Monday (August 23) Tune in to NBC on DISH Network for the LIVE broadcast of the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant from Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas!!! Oh yeah! The Highly anticipated beauty pageant event is finally here! The pageant will air on NBC and Telemundo (Available with DISH Latino Packages) at 9-11PM ET. Don’t miss it!

The 59th annual pageant will be produced and owned by Donald Trump. The satellite TV event will air live from Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Las Vegas. The two-hour NBC show will feature more than 80 women from across the world competing in three rounds – swimsuit, evening gown as well as interview events. In this amazing event the United States will be represented by Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakih. The new Miss Universe will be crowned by 2009 winner of Miss Universe title, Stefania Fernandez, from Venezuela.

Australian singer/songwriter Orianthi will perform her hit single ‘According to You‘ during the pageant’s swimsuit competition, while John Legend & The Roots will perform during the evening gown competition.

‘Rock of Love‘ and reigning ‘Celebrity Apprentice‘ winner Bret Michaels will join ‘Today’ correspondent Natalie Morales in hosting the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant on Aug. 23.

With the NFL Preseason in full swing, the best way you can spend a lazy Sunday Afternoon is by watching a NFL Preseason game on DISH Network! And this Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers faces the Minnesota Vikings in the second preseason game for both the teams. DISH Network has the largest HD line up among the pay TV providers in the United States and it is continuously trying to excel in the field. So now you may be able to watch ‘Mad Men’ on HD on DISH Network. Isn’t that great???

The programming lineup of popular satellite TV channel AMC features a wide array of popular as well as critically acclaimed shows such as ‘Mad Men’, ‘Rubicon’ and ‘Breaking Bad’. These shows have got a huge fanfare! With DISH Network at home you may soon have a great time watching the satellite TV channel in DISH HD mode.

DISH Network has not yet revealed the channel number for the high definition edition of this satellite TV channel. The satellite TV provider already carries the SD version of this channel.

AMC HD is located on DISH Network Ch. 130 and is available free to customers who subscribe to America’s Top 200 and above, as well as DishLATINO DOS with HD and higher.
