Who Wants to See Brian Dunkleman in ‘American Idol’?

Brian Dunkleman

Did you see the excitement among the live audience on “American Idol” when Ryan Seacrest said Brian Dunkleman, his former co-host will be hosting part of “Idol Gives Back“?

But, well, Seacrest was lying. Dunkleman, who has not been seen on the Fox music reality competition since 2002, is not coming back on the DISH Network show. In fact, Queen Latifah will host the part of ‘Idol Gives Back’ which Seacrest mentioned during the show broadcast on April 13 on ‘American Idol’. The audience seemed quite excited hearing about his comeback. It can also be added that Conan O’Brien has been offered ‘Idol Gives Back’ this year but he cannot take part in the show due to a NBC contract.

But really, bringing back Dunkleman isn’t a bad idea. Those who got ‘American Idol’ tickets for the first season would probably remember Brian Dunkleman. He was co-host along with Ryan Seacrest for the first season. However, after that he was kicked out of the show and was more or less forgotten. He has lately been seen on “Celebrity Fit Club”. He is also playing himself on the final season of “My Name Is Earl”.

Bringing back Dunkleman will definitely be a great idea. “American Idol” loves good comeback stories and this can be a great comeback that will increase the popularity of the DISH TV show.

With a lot of things happening at the American Idol this can be another exciting addition to it. With great performance glitz and glamour the show is sure to draw your attention.

So what say you? Should ‘American Idol’ give Dunkleman another chance? Share your views with us.
