So who won the Entertainer of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards this year? Well, it’s Carrie Underwood who won Entertainer of the Year at 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. All the Carrie Underwood fans will be happy. However, the Taylor Swift fans might be disappointed to see her winning the award for the second time in the row on CBS Channel on DISH Network. The entire country has voted for the Entertainer of the year at CBS.com/vote.

The show kicked off with a performance by Miranda Lambert and Underwood in which they were joined by fiddler Charlie Daniels, Brad Paisley and John Fogerty. Lambert too had a big winning day on 18th. She bagged the awards for album of the year, video of the year, and top female vocalist. Lady Antebellum also won five awards.

Tim McGraw, Billy Currington, Lady Antebellum, Laura Bell Bundy, Kenny Chesney and many others performed at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards night and made it more memorable.

But the saddest part of the award was when Brook and Dunn came to stage to take the Top Vocal Duo of the Year for their last-ever performance as a duo on the ACM awards this year. As the band broke up, it will be their last-ever ACM Award together. We’ll miss their performance.
